Campus Superstar

I went for the campus superstar event not as a contestant but as a reporter because I know my limits mah. I'm slightly tone deaf. Singing is not my forte but Happy Birthday song is still within my vocal range =)

Erm I have better things to do than dreaming big fat hopes about being an idol singer.
Went with Sushan,Desmond,Weiting,new found friend Shane and a few others. All of them were audience. NOBODY PARTICIPATED HOR. Will upload more personal photos later

The platform for young hopefuls which could be their leap to stardom. I travelled to the north to Toa Payoh HDB Hub to catch a glimpse of the rising stars and catch a piece of the action. Go with the flow and indulge my ears with soothing music(although some sung even worse than me) That was how early I was. The event has'nt been infiltrated with people yet.
Time passes by gradually as the atmosphere becomes more intense. Participants waited eagerly for their turn as they swayed side by side to ease their anxiousness while they rehearse their audition songs.

Their anxiousness was written vividly on their faces! I could feel the tension for them as an audience! Some impressived the crowd with their saccharine voices while some pulled it of from the cookie cutter crowd with suave poises.

The light that is going to decide their future....whether everything remains stagnant or their chance to enter ~~hollywood~~ Mediacorp I mean.
It takes massive courage to step up the platform to reach out to thousands of people and singing in front of them.

Having testoterone, I centred all my attention on mediacorp cutesy Fiona xie. Talked to her for 1 minute and asked her if she could take a picture with me. She replied in a cutesy pitch like the Hi-5 people in a language of her own, called the wisp speak.

"No! Later ok? She smiled as she turned away and disappeared out of my sight into her world of glam and posed in front of the camera again.

SHE DOES"NT KNOW HOW TO SUCK UP TO REPORTERS ONE ISIT

Right, let's get right back on track...the competition....

This is one of the short pants who did their school proud. They got in!
